It all depends on the type of arthritis that you have. Rule 1 is that a predisposition to any form of arthritis is often passed on genetically. the main forms of arthritis are split up into 3 groups. osteoarthritis which is usually the result of wear and tear or trauma; Rheumatoid arthritis which is an autoimmune disease that affects multiple joints and can also affect many other organs and tissues in the body; Gout, gout is the result of excess uric acid building up in the blood and turning into crystals that invade joints starting usually in the extremity’s like toes and fingers, however it can go to other joints and parts of the body including severe kidney damage.
