How does herbal medicine compare to allopathic medicine

Allopathic medicine refers to the practice of conventional medicine, and especially the practices now referred to as heroic medicine. It was coined by Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) in 1810. Although allopathic medicine was rejected as a term by mainstream physicians, it was adopted by alternative medicine advocates to refer pejoratively to conventional medicine

Herbalism is a traditional medicinal or folk medicine practice based on the use of plants and plant extracts. Herbalism is also known as botanical medicine, medical herbalism, herbal medicine, herbology, and phytotherapy.
