Knowing how to hypnotize someone is considered an art by some people. If you really want to learn how to do it you have to give up trying to use it in bad purposes and learn it solely for helping others. There are many online courses that “teach” you how to do it but we recommend finding a real person that can suggest you the right path to start. It is also necessary to mention that hypnotherapy and hypnosis are two different things and not all those that call themselves hypnotists can aid people to quit smoking or support them psychologically in getting rid of any other addictions. Hypnotherapy is more a medical aspect of hypnosis.
There are different methods to hypnotize someone. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is one of them. Sometimes, a beautiful smile or a well said compliment can hypnotize a person
Have the person you’re working with sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
Talk slowly in a soothing voice (it doesn’t have to be monotone).
Say “Take a deep breath and as you let it out, close your eyes and begin to feel yourself relaxing.” (If their eyes are already closed, leave the eye closing out)
Have your subject put their awareness on different parts of their body and relax them. You can use language such as “Now become aware of your arms… now relax your arms… let them grow more and more comfortable… let the muscles become loose and limp and even more relaxed”. Repeat this type of instruction for all areas of the body.
Sprinkle your language with plenty of positive reinforcements such as – “That’s right, good, you’re doing just fine.”
Repeat if necessary: Depending on the person, you may have to repeat the whole procedure a few times. For most people 10 or 15 minutes is enough.
When you’re ready to emerge them just say “I’m going to count to five, when I reach five or before, your eyes will open and you’ll feel relaxed and refreshed”. Count up to five slowly with your voice getting a little less soothing and a little more “awake” with each number. When you reach four, if their eyes aren’t open say “On the next number your eyes will open and you’ll feel relaxed and refreshed. Five, eyes open, feeling relaxed and refreshed.”
There is no simple response. First the person must want to be hypnotized and against the will of a person almost never works, even for a professional.
I have done some mental training where you really enter a state of alpha which is similar to hypnotizing by yourself. I did this to gain what I wanted, and it worked. Also I did this to loose weight and it work.
There are so many books on mind control but you can do a lot for yourself. As to hypnotize someone else, I would say forget it until you are a professional. You are not going to give “her” a suggestion to go to bed with you unless she really wants to, or to do the chicken dance. What you see on TV, movies, or heard (wives tales) is about 99% false or fake.
So if you want to do this, go thru college, get a degree, study a lot, and try to specialize. There are a lot on the internet to do even self-hypnotizes and most is BS, but is good for those that you sent your money to.
Be aware, not as simple as you want or think.
