First, you’ve gotta get your subject in a dim room and tell them to get comfortable. Speak in a low soothing voice. Tell them to relax every part of their body, starting at the tips of their toes, up to their face. Next get them to close their eyes, and imagine their happy place. Say something like ‘you are getting sleepy’. Wait like 30 seconds and say something like ‘when I snap my fingers, you will get up and do the chicken dance. They should do what you say. After a bit, tell them something like ‘when I count down to 0 from 10, you will get up feeling great. There’s hypnosis!
